Solution :
Now we know that the entire class gets divided into the ratio of 7:8 .
Now 7 + 8 = 15 . So that means out of every 15 students, 7 are boys and the remaining 8 are girls.
Hence this means that (7/15) th of the class is boys.
So (7/15) X 90 = 42.
Hence the number of boys is (b) 42
